A textbook cannoli from Artuso Pastry Shop in the Bronx.
What we liked: This cannoli had great overall flavor. The shell was flaky and the filling had that hint of cinnamon and chocolate chip that we love. They dusted the cannoli with fresh powdered sugar before placing it in a classic twine-wrapped box.
What could be better: The cannoli was sitting in the case when we arrived at the shop, and the filling was a bit on the soupy side. I have no doubt they filled it that day, but nothing beats a cannoli filled fresh on arrival.
