A light and fresh cannoli from NY Laurentino's Pasticceria in Park Slope, Brooklyn.
What we liked: The cannoli was filled fresh and had a light and crispy shell. The cream was not too sweet, had an authentic fresh ricotta taste and a few chocolate chips throughout. Overall the crispy shell and low sweetness gave the cannoli a light feel, in a good way. This one isn't going to sit like brick in your stomach.
What could be better: Overall the cannoli lacked a bit of flavor. It's not going to knock your socks off. It's not going to turn a random person into a cannoli lover. But for a cannoli lover out there, it will satisfy the craving.
