Excellent cannoli from Pasticceria Monteleone in Carroll Gardens.
What we liked: Cream was cold and rich, shell was crunchy, and candied fruit gave a distinctive flair. Not to mention, the bakery is as classic as Italian bakeries get.
What could be better: They fill their cannoli fresh daily, but not right in front of you, leaving us wondering when exactly ours was filled. Additionally, the cannoli was pre-dusted with powdered sugar, but we prefer a fresh dusting at the time of order.
